A makeup lesson is a great way to get out of your makeup rut, to discover new skills and techniques, or to learn how to select makeup to complement your style. Whatever your objective, a makeup lesson can help you gain confidence in your skill and application.

One on One Lessons

Our time together starts by discussing your current regime, which products you use, and the areas you want to focus on.

I’ll tailor our time to your specific needs, however a typical lesson covers:

  • getting the most from your current kit

  • skin preparation and personalised colour matching

  • a quick look for when you are running out the door

  • a simple and polished daytime look, and

  • your choice of a day-to-night, or a glam look

Each step is explained thoroughly as I apply makeup to one half of your face, while guiding you to master the other half using the same professional industry techniques shown.

We’ll use your personal makeup (along with anything required from my extensive kit) to create an easily achievable look tailored to your colouring, eye shape and face shape. Each person will take home a set of tools so they have everything needed to feel confident replicating these looks, and experimenting with new techniques.

I pride myself on ensuring our time together is comfortable, engaging and fun. My makeup lessons are simple and achievable for anyone. It’s all about being able to integrate your makeup regime into your everyday lifestyle.

The 2 hour 1:1 lesson is $250.

Small Group Lessons

Great for small groups, hen’s parties, girls or boys nights in, or teen birthday parties.

We’ll begin discussing different skin types and which products will be suited to each person. The group will then choose a look they want to achieve, whether it’s to create a signature everyday makeup look, a day-to-night look, or a glam look.

Each step is explained thoroughly as I apply makeup to one member of the group (in front of a mirror so they also learn), while guiding each person to master the look on themselves using the same professional industry techniques shown. We’ll rotate our model for each step so everyone gets plenty of hands on experience.

We’ll use your personal makeup (along with anything required from my extensive kit) to create an easily achievable look tailored to your colouring, eye shape and face shape. You’ll take home a set of tools so you have everything you need to feel confident replicating these looks and experimenting with new techniques.

The two hour small group lesson (2-6 people) is $150pp.
